1. Cost : $35,000   [2 cabinets]   plus shipping/crating

2. Common Design elements/features for BOTH Cabinets
  • BOTH CABINETS to have triple pane insulated glass doors on 2/3'rds of the available front face surface with 2 drawers drawers on the remaining 1/3 of the available front face
  • Doors to swing to 90 degree opening rather and 180 swing
  • exterior materials: Genuine Mahogany and & Highly Figured Crotch Mahogany center panels/drawer faces with rosewood trim for accent
  • size: 70" tall [+/- 60" cabinet atop a 10" base], 36" wide ; 30" deep or the equivalent volume in any design of mutual agreement
  • Temperature controlled with R45 insulation and 200% of recommended BTU output Thermoelectric coolers
  • Artisan Controller/Controllers as needed to coordinate AC & RH
  •  internal air recirculation fans regulated by independent adjustable electric timer relay
  •  all AC & humidifiers concealed within base and not visible from exterior; all devices to be outside of cigar storage space.
  • "frame and panel" design with no center stile [vertical divider] between doors/drawers
  •  hardware: Solid Brass  hinges; rotary bar locks on doors, "file cabinet grade" drawer glides with positive stops to hold drawer closed, brass pulls and handles
  • Cigar cabinet to be lined with floating panels of 1/4" thick solid Spanish cedar
  • pullout trays & drawers of Mahogany or Spanish cedar
  • Finish: lacquer 'hand rubbed' effect
  • Underside Treatment: leg levelers

 
    [a] Display Humidor with upper glass doors and lower externally accessible boxed storage drawers
    •  Upper doors to be 2/3'rds of space available on face
    •  behind glass doors  is will be three  full width 'canted' display shelving [pullout]
    •  each canted display unit to have lift out trays
    •  each pullout canted display unit to have shelf on underside for concealed storage
    •  below the glass doors will be 2 rows of drawers for 'boxed' storage
    • each drawer to have beaded edging to replicate upper door trim
    •  Internal liner of solid 1/4" floating panels of Spanish Cedar
    •  Spacing of boxed cigar storage shelving as design permits
    •  each  drawer to have handle to be selected to mutual agreement [$20/handle estimated]
 
To be in the "general style and manner" as described above for proportions and features and as shown below except:
  • Upper doors to be 2/3'rds of space available on face
  • Upper doors to have glass center panels
  • Upper doors to have 'bead' trim around exterior perimeter of door frame rather than interior as shown below
  • Two 'banks/columns of drawers mirroring the door
          
  
 

       

 

[b] Humidor Locker: to be made to be identical to the 'casework' for the display cabinet ['face frame' and crown so as to match the overall appearance
  • Upper doors to be 2/3'rds of space available on face
  • recessed behind the glass doors are to be individual 'pull out' lockers
  • multiple rows and columns to mutually agreed sizes of lockers of equal [or unequal] sizes
  •  [9] lockers; 3 rows of 3 lockers of decreasing height from bottom to top
  • each locker to be made similar to a file cabinet drawer with a 'positive' closure
  • each locker to be built with full height side wall to insure air flow design is unaffected by contents of lockers
  • a 'floating tray' will be provided in each locker for loose cigars
  • each locker door to have beaded edge frame of rosewood
  • each locker drawer to have handle to be selected to mutual agreement [$20/handle estimated]
  • each locker to be provided with hardware for future 'personal initial's engraving
            Design to be similar to except that
      • Drawer handles to be centered
      • No locks
      • to be made to 'match' display cabinet described above
 
3 Start / Completion: [dates subject to receipt of deposit and overall mutual agreement on above]
  • Commence work within 3-4 months
  • Construction allowance 3-4 months
  • The above are subject to delays caused by already scheduled work or works in progress
  •  It is understood that the site for these cabinets may not be ready until September 2008 and delays up until that date are tolerable.
