This giant humidor manages to combine incredible
toughness with remarkable beauty. One small detail that I really like is
the way that the detailed patterns in the figured wood extend seamlessly
across the interface between the lid and the base. From across the room,
one can barely see tell that the base and the lid are not one continuous
piece. Meanwhile, I can't imagine how this humidor could be more solid.
Thick, generous cuts of premium wood are used throughout the humidor.
Arlin kept me posted every step of the way
during the construction, answering all questions, and refusing to be
satisfied until I was satisfied.
I have no doubt that long after I am gone, this
humidor will still be admired by its next owner (and the one after that, and
the one after that, . .
