| "I got the humidor home and unpacked it Thursday. The pictures do not do it justice! The Fiddleback walnut is exquisite, and the construction is flawless. My eye is constantly drawn to the raised panel - the grain and figuring in the wood you selected for the panel is beyond description. The trays will work perfectly - thanks for reconfiguring them for me.
The wiring arrangement for the Cigar Oasis unit is perfect. I would STRONGLY recommend that any of your customers that are interested in using the Cigar Oasis have it set-up this way. Having the ribbon cable dangling out the back of a work of art like this would be a sin.
I've been working on slowly conditioning the humidor since the weekend (it's at 66% right now), so I won't be able to estimate how many cigars it will hold till I start to fill it - probably next week.Some friends stopped by last night to pick me up for a night out, and they noticed the humidor in the dining room (that's not where it will wind up, but I have to keep it there until I install an electrical outlet at its ultimate location - the price of using active humidification). All of them were suitably impressed, and one of the women described the raised panel as having "the appearance of a fine rare marble." So it's not just me that's captivated by the wood.
